Remaining distance can not be greater than actual distance.
This error comes when you are trying to extend validity of EWB.
This validation comes when user tries to extend validity of ewaybill with remaining distance furnished more that originally furnished distance.
It means when you extend EWB validity at that time remaining distance should not be grater than the actual distance.
